Angry S type not turning over

Hi car was starting & running ok so I decided to add a Bluetooth module & now the car won’t start, when I turn on ignition all lights up ok the needles in the instruments move fully over then return to the normal positions but nothing else works.
has anyone got any ideas what’s happened ?….or what to look at
thanks in advance. Also no central locking etc

Have you checked the fuses, particularly the circuit to which you added the module?

First check would be to see what voltage the battery is showing. Maybe it's just drained.

Charge the battery for five hours at 2 to 5 amps and retest. If there's less than 12.6 volts showing when checked with a voltmeter across the terminals, the battery is suspect.

Good to hear you caught the dead battery and resultant no-crank.

Next you will want to investigate why the battery went dead. That's not normal. I've left my car sitting for several weeks with no issues. Two basic possibilities:

1) You've got an external drain killing the battery when not in use. More details here:

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...-drain-123535/

2) The battery is on its last legs and can't hold a charge for more than a couple of days. If driven every day, you may never notice, but if it sits for several days it dies.

The problem could be either scenario, or a combination of the two.
