Yea, She's an R. I'm up to about 220 per tank pretty consistantly now so I'm happy. Plus now I feel better knowing that it's pretty normal. Thanks for the tank #'s and not the mpg!

How many miles do you get from a full tank? resetting the trip at full and checking when you get the low fuel level alert.

I just got back from a trip from WI to AR andtravelling at an average speed of 74 MPH I got 27MPG. I had no idea that the gas mileage would be that good. I was getting over 400 miles on each tank of gas.

Lucky you! sounds great. I've never really had my car on the highway for any length so I can't say hwy milage. I'm squeezing 220 per tank full in town.

Sounds like I'm lucky with MPG, looking at these posts.

When I got the car, my trip-comp was telling me I was getting 24 avg (CITY), and I thought that was high (higher than I expected anyway)so I started tracking it manually.

When done manually, I get 23 (CITY).

For the hell of it, I set the trip-comp before darting down to the Keys last summer.(about 3.5 hours, mostly Highway.) The car said I averaged 28.8. My manual calulations said I got 27, so the dash and the actual seem to be pretty close.

Sounds about right! I get about 30 MPG(driving like a lady) highway, and 23 MPG(driving like a lady) city! I get about 23/15 if I push it!

i dont know how you averaged 74 mph treder, especially on a long journey. when i use to drive the STR, when i was drivin 90 it felt like i was only goin about 60. when i hit 140 it felt like 90. i dont think my STR evergo 400 miles on a tank, let alone 300, even when i drove like a "lady" as big likes to put it lol

I'm getting about 16-17 city ( mix of easy driving plus getting on it some) and around 25+ highway, going to my river house ( mostly 2 lane country roads ) i easily average 27-28, even with opening it up to pass some...fuel and air filters are def. a big thing to watch!

I'm only getting 220 miles per tank in town driving easy! I am resetting my trip : A : every time that I fill up and checking it when the low fuel light comes on. I am usually putting in about 15.5 gal.

In case you'all don't watch the new posts in the 'OFF Topic' section, you are welcome to add your 'data' to my gas mileage thread I started here. Stop being so clickesh with just you s-typers. [sm=chattypair.gif] Share the wealth.

I also started a 2007 maintenance cost/description post that summarizes your '07 outlays.
