ive tried joining that forum before, never got a response. And that was the first place i learned of the torque converter issue. Had i not have read that post there, i would still be scratching my head

weird, there used to be a crap load of info, and the pages were green and black??? maybe someone bought the name????

The styperregistry.com used to be a fairly active board that was started by a fellow enthusiast who has since sold his STR. He gave the domain over to Eurotoys about a year ago and since that time there have not been a great deal of postings.

And yes, there was a great deal of info at that site. From personal experience I remember posting the headlight leveling, torque converter, and throttle body water issues/fixes back in 05/06 and many others had valuable contributions as well - a shame that the threads are no longer available.
