I have shot at getting an S type but it will need rear control arm bushings on the drivers side rear....never worked on that so how big a pain is it or is it pretty straight forward as most are...?

 

You have not indicated the model year of the S-type. In the aftermarket there is some bad information as to which parts fit what car, Moog (unfortunately) being a prime offender. Jaguar, on the other hand, is more than happy to sell you complete control arm assemblies...
