S-type to STR Headlamps?

Is it possible to take S-type headlamps and install in S-type R? I don't care if they are HID or not. Can't justify dealer replacement.

Dealer want $2500 for replacement of headlamp asseblies in 2003 STR.

Possible - yes. How, I don't know. Maybe post what is wrong now. Have you read the FAQ about headlight repair?

You might want to do a search for used head lights on this forum. I think Brutal one of our factory tech's sells repaired HID lights. He might have what you’re looking for. I would NEVER go back to regular lights after getting spoiled with factory HID's. I have them in my 2005 STR and my wife’s 2003 Lincoln LS.
