No, but I figured something like the TPS would be pretty similar between V8 S-Types, at least.

The reason the STR TPS can be problematic (though even then rarely) is that its connector is where water may drip (due to a problem that ought itself not occur and generally does not). No other S-Type suffers because their TPS is elsewhere.

Still, a used TPS (more likely the TB with it) should be pretty cheap and you never know might be a fix.

Ah, that explains it. After reading that link I was confused when I looked at my car since the throttle body didn't appear to be where water drips were likely to happen. Guess I didn't consider the differences between the 4.2 and the R regarding where components would be placed.

They had to move it on the R due to the SC.
