Default Scuttle cowling

windshield scuttle cowl cover on my Jaguar s type 2004 v6 has lifted off from the windscreen a couple of mil. Water is getting underneath and dripping on to bank 2 and filling the spark plug well with water.Any idea how to get it back or do i just replace. The rubber has lifted i think because the plastic cowl maybe has warped. Any ideas.

That looks like it may be where the cabin (pollen) filter is in which case someone may have bent it up to allow replacement of the filter.

I removed the scuttle cover, applied 2 beads black caulking onto windscreen. Put cover back in place no more water!

You can also search for a post from one of Jon89's buddies (danielstayer) or something close. He explained how he used rubber baseboard and some other hocus pocus. I prefer my method.
