If it's extendable I understand you'd have to do it before the current one expires. Call Jag Corporate if in doubt, I guess.

Never heard of the Jaguar dealerships around here being willing to extend the Select Edition warranty out to 8 years. If this is indeed true, it would be interesting to know how much more it costs. Might be up there in the stratosphere level....

I would guess the cost may vary depending on the year and mileage of the vehicle in question, if it indeed offered. Going to the dealer this evening, I'll see if there is any literature or anyone still there who may know.

I extended mine for 2 years, IIRC it has to be done at least a month before the existing one expires.
It was money down the drain for me.
YMMV it could be a godsend.

Sorry - by the time I got there only the cashier and one attendant were still there and the lone salesman I could find was with a client. I didn't see any literature on the service desk, just accessory catalogs.

Yes the dealer can do it. It's an additional $2500 and they will have to go thru the car again and make sure everything looks perfect. If you've had accident damage or anything like that it probably wont pass...i plan on doing that to my XKR next spring.
