Default Self leveling motor.

I have my drivers side headlight assembly off of the car and noticed that the manual level adjustment is broken but in order to remove it and make a new one I need to get the reflector off. I have the lenses off but can't figure out how to disconnect the leveling motor from the reflector like you would do if you had to replace the motor. The motor will turn and come loose but it is still attached to the reflector. Any help would be great! Thanks!!
P.S. The JTIS disc as far as I can see just says to make suer that it is disconnected but doesn't tell how.

If you plan to remake the broken part, you maybe better off to make a better assembly than the original plastic part.
I made mine as per the pictures here and installed the block after chopping off the original adjustment screw. I could not disconect the motor either but I did not remove the lenses either, all work done from the back.

Actually I made mine out of a nylon material pretty much the same as the original style but the material is not so brittle. It's working great but thanks for the info!! I may be doing that in the future. I did get the motor disconnected but I don't see how it can be done without delaminating the lens.
