New member, and new owner of an '06 STR. Our first Jag - and we love the car. My wife couldn't be happier if I had brought home jewelry...

Only problem is the Sirius. My wife is addicted to XM, and we are both a little put off by the Sirius accessory kit in our car. I hate that it looks out of place, and that it cost some handy storage space and an accessory outlet. Besides that, we can't figure out how to make it work.

I can turn it on and off, and I can see that it is receiving stations, but no sound... I know, search the archives. I have, including JOsworth's helpful threads, but I have not been able to find instructions on the use of this unit. Sirius's web site was also of no use here. I need help in two areas - how to operate it, and how to contact Sirius to transfer accounts.

Also, since I am the third owner of this car, it is missing some documentation - specifically, owners manuals and supplements. I have downloaded what is available on the site. Thanks to those responsible for those links... I guess the best bet for ordering printed replacements is through a dealership. Is there any other source for these?

Yep its an FM transmitter.
I agree for all that use of space right next to the radio and its not hardwired..
