SO... I bought a brand new battery
For my S-Type 2005.
Trouble is, can't figure out how to remove the black bracket holding the thing down...
Tried to disconnect the - but the thing is stuck - 10 years, it's the original. I took it to a local Jaguar dealer 2 years ago and asked for a 150 point inspection but I guess they didn't care to look into that.
Anyway, WD40?
Any advice? Couldn't find any posts of detail info on how to.
Thank you much!

The bolt holding the hold down, down is through screwed the trunk. You would be better off getting to threads from under the trunk. PB Blaster is much better suited to free corroded threads than WD40.
