Default Speaker Covers

Does anybody know how to remove the plastic speaker covers on the door panels? I have tried with a flat knife to just pop it of, but it looks like it is ready to break or snap something.

if your trying to get to the speakers, it would probably be better to pop the door off. Its like 3 screws and one hell off a pull on the door panel. That my friend, is the easiest way

Thanks for the quick reply Jason!
Yes I am trying to get to the speakers and and re doing the cones (in either kevlar or carbon fibre for a cleaner sound) and possibly change the spiders too depending on the quality.
Also if I may ask your advise re connecting, and where to place a 4 channel amp., as I find the standard head unit power a little on the low side.
