Default Spring is almost here!

Ok, so it snowed about a foot yesterday and didn't even get into the 30s today...but anyways here's a teaser for what's to come in about a month:

what?! 19's?! you dont say...

Is it safe to assume we have yet another member to the forgestar mafia?

Looking forward to updates, i am going to have my new forgestars early next month... Cant wait!

Weather still sucks up here, spring nowhere in sight, but i cant wait to put the winter car away and start commuting with the STR again...

Indeed. I ordered mine right after you did, so they should be here soon!

My 03 STR runs 285's in the rear...this's the max width for the R.

I am also switching wheels to a 19x10" and running a different offset than stock, so we will see how much room I have with the 285s.

285's should clear, but let us know, really looking forward to the pics and details on what wheels you went with, what color, etc,

Being that you're already lowered on springs I'm betting your STR is going to look silly good with the new wheels equipped!

I didn't really have too many options (so CF-5s is what I got), and color-wise I was somewhat dictated by my car's color. I wouldn't go with black wheels, and gunmetal would look kinda funny with a quartz car, so I did silver. I am getting anxious for them even though its only been a little over 2 weeks. I think they are going to look great with a lowered STR!

The story was this: I wanted the F14s originally, but Modbargains said the F14s wouldn't fit, so I went with CF5s. They tell me 6-9 weeks. After a couple months, they say the CF5 barrels are on back order, and the F14s do actually fit. So I switched to the F14s. A few months later, I finally have them and they fit great (except I had to get different lug nuts). I will get more pictures when I find someone with a real camera to do a shoot with.

Indeed, F14's weren't considered to 'fit' the STR, can't build it to CF5 offsets either, but you can get close,
Around that time, I had insisted to jurrian/forgestar we try and fit F14's, took a good deal of measurements and photos, enough to make everyone confident enough to go ahead and build them, took delivery, test fitted, cleared with room to spare, proceeded to paint them, lovin' them since,

Now go and enjoy them, wear them in a little, new set of shoes really changes the car,

Nice car and wheels! And nice burn out - mine seem to just leave one big mark and one little mark due to lack of lsd lol

hot damn, car looks good. I am jealous of all the tasteful modding going on with the STR's this week, definitely have "Wheel" envy!
