You install MIL eliminators for themor do what I did on my 2004 S-type I had before. All you do is put spark plug nonfoulers in between the 02 sensor and the hole where it gets the measurement and it reads cleaner air so it thinks the cats are doing there job

I know what they are, but was not sure if we could use them for the STR as I thought the rear o2 was a wide band and measured the a/f ratio to give the proper amount of fuel for when into the boost in hot/cold weather.....but I could be totally worng here....and I didnt want to chance it when I did my full exhaust with how touchy the ECU is.....and not able to dyno tune it til summer....

first or upper ones measure air/fuel the other ones downstream measure cat activity. ther eis a total of 4 on the car 2 right after the exhaust manifol and 2 after the cats

Are you going to buy them? I want to do this in conjunction with the new exhaust I just ordered. Living in Quebec means that there is no emission testing here so the cats will go bye-bye.

I have not purchased them becuase they have not given me a better offer. If they dont fit im out shipping cost plus labor cost and I dont think I should be responsible for there research and development. I want them to lower them at least $100. If not there is a local company that will make some for me and for you guys if interested for about the same price. There website is http://www.vettesandperformance.com/.

Agreed. Low production numbers make us less desirable.

You gonna be our guinea pig? I'm in if they build a jig and can replicate the unit that they build for you. I won't be able to drive all the way to Kansas to get it fitted.

This is something that I have always done in my cars with great results. Make sure that they give you raw steel and then ship them to Jet Hot to get coated. Reduced underhood temperatures and increased scavenging makes for even more added performances.
