Started the speaker installation today... need advice
Hi guys. I started the door speaker install today. So far I have the panels off, and I installed e-dead 45 (like dynamat). My question is what should I use to cover the big holes in the door panel. I basically have access to home depot type matierials, so I don't have access to anything to exotic. The first thought is mdf, but I heard it comes apart once it gets wet. Are there any thin, durable type wood materials that I can cut to cover the holes?
The intention is to cover all the openiings on the door panel and then lay a ton of dynomat on top of it.
I'm going to rockford fosgate fanatic q component sets setup in wooden custom made baffles from elemental designs.
