Default Steering Column Woes...

Hi Guys

Found yet another niggle with the STR, electric steering column doesn’t work

I’ve had a play around with the button, makes a click noise from the column in certain directions and a constant click when trying to move it in the down position.

Has anyone managed to remove their steering column in its entirety and suffered with the same issue?

I want to take the column out this weekend and clean all contacts etc but everywhere I look, I can’t find any information on how to remove it.

Its a 2006 STR with fully electric steering column

Thanks guys!

Mine done this a short wile ago ,
Easy enough to remove , but was not needed .
Mine required a column re configuration . Via IDS SDD .
