Steering Wheel Column / adjustment
Dear Admins / Members
Greetings
Kindly help with my S Type 2005
I went to the electrician who solved the DCS fault by computer, which took him almost 2 hours. Unfortunately, today, I found that the electronic switch that controls the steering wheel is not working in any direction.
I checked the fuses, and all are working. Also, I couldn't find a manual tool to adjust the steering wheel.
the wheel is functioning properly during normal driving, but the adjustment is not working at all in all directions (up-down - in-out)
It shall be mentioned that my brother was at maintenance center today and they removed the airbag cover in the wheel to check the electricity wires attached to the cruise control buttons. He informed me that the steering wheel was totally removed during their work.
Note 1: the message "column adjust" appear on the screen when turning the switch on the left side of the steering
Note 2: an electrician suggested checking the wires under the driver seat...after doing so I hear a voice from the seat (without moving), once I put the key in or get it out
Kindly help me with a way to reset or something else
Best regards
Talal
