The steering wheel on my 2005 s type makes noise when turned either direction. It sounds like winding a clock. No trouble codes and all functions normal. The clock spring sounds too obvious. Does anyone have any other ideas. The noise seems to be in the vicinity of the upper steering wheel. Haven't done any disassembly yet. I have read the posts on removing clock spring.
