Removing stock stereo from 2000 Jaguar S Type...I've been reading post but do not see the tear drop things, do I need to just pop panel out around the unit? Anyone got some pics?

I see the tear shaped covers on each side of the radio now, sorry dumb question. I will post a pic later today pointing them out for anyone else as slow as me.

Inside circles are the tear shaped covers. Remove them with something flat and you will see the bolts. They came out easy for me, no damage.

Default Probably slower than you

I've gotta do this job too.

So you just pry these out, revealing some bolts you unscrew? This allows you to remove the radio section?

If you could post more pics of your job, I'd be very appreciative. I've been putting this off because there's so little info / pics available on the radio removal of the earlier S-Types like my '01.

Thanks a bunch, Steve
