Took the monster for its MOT (UK road safety test) today and had an advisory for corrocion on the front Brake flexi hoses.......have seen that Goodridge do some Braided front flexi's and was wondering if anyone has any experience of them on their STR?? If you have the part number of em too that would be great........Goodridge site just lists S-type and not specifically STR.

The STR has stainless steel brake hoses stock. These are usually considered lifetime? Did it get damaged? Does the inspector even know what he is looking at?? I have found most people are completely clueless. The SS lines are covered with a plastic outer cover so they don't look like Stainless Steel!!

Cheers tbird, yep totally agree that half of em out there aint got a clue......and trying to make a fast buck!!! have'nt actually looked at the lines but will do......there may be crud on the outer coating and he may have picked up that.
