Sunroof stuck open on tilt

Sunroof stuck open on tilt
Sept 2001 S Type 3.0 V6 Petrol
New owner to this car, and until today the sunroof worked just fine, Now, its stuck open on tilt. Pushing the button forward, just a click, pushing the button back - sometimes a click/noise.
Any ideas on how to close the sunroof please ?

Search first; things to consider
Do a search thru this forum as others have had sunroof issues too. Might find an answer already posted.
Probably need to determine:
1) has the fuse failed?
2) has the switch failed?
3) has the motor failed?
4) is there a physical obstruction in the track?
Might be other stuff I haven't considered. Good luck.
