I'm in the midst of gathering parts to pursue several issues with my '03 STR.

One issue of which is the serpentine/supercharger belt pulley update.

My first question is does anyone know if the Gatorback belts now offered at Rock Auto (as of 01/19/2012) are the new ones (updated) or the old ones?
Then, same question on the idler pulley?
Finally, if so, can anyone confirm which Jaguar PN's they replace?

Goodyear Gatorback 4060910 is a 91", ribbed, serpentine (if I'm reading it right), and I think he would be an alternate to C2C 37063.

Goodyear Gatorback 4080521 is listed as a supercharger belt, but description is somewhat unclear regarding ribbed/not ribbed status on both sides. The description indicates 8 ribs, but does not indicated one or two sides. I think it would be an alternate to C2C 37055.

They also have an AC idler pulley, Goodyear 49195, which I think might be an alternate for C2C 37064.

Any help would be appreciated - also, the Goodyear site does indicate the measured length of the SC belt, is 52.047", I believe some folks might be looking for that data.

You don't have to bother with the updated pulley swap. A Gatorback belt can be procured from E-Bay and is usually the cure for the squeel. Use the Forum Search feature for threads on this issue.

 

The goodyear belt will not work for the revised pulley system.
