Hey all I searched and could not find the answer to my question so here I am posing it to all of you.

This is for 03 S-type models and/or those that are applicable. Is there a difference between the base 4.2 Sport and STR? If there is I'm assuming that the STR has a lowered ride height an a tad bit firmer ride?

If this is true will STR shocks fit the Sport?

 

Refer to the brochure. I posted lots of them or google should find them (did for me).

Lots of changes as well as what they say. Suspension, brakes, fuel pumps, modules. If you really want a fuller list, refer to JEPC which is free on here.

 

The STR has CATS struts and the 4.2 sport does not (unless fitted with that option from the factory). They will fit, but you will not be able to use the CATS feature without all the wiring and modules. Therefore the CATS struts will be in default mode, which is full stiff and an unpleasantly harsh ride.
