Default Swapping out steering wheel?

I would like to swap out my steering wheel for a different all black one. I'm just not a fan of the wood trim on the wheel not matching the dash. Is this a pretty straight forward swap? I'm aware I need to disconnect the battery and airbag but will there be any problems I'll run into?

Here's the new wheel: 00 01 02 03 Jaguar s Type Steering Wheel Cruise Control Radio Controls | eBay

Thanks!

I haven't taken off the Jaguar wheels, but I have others. A steering wheel puller usually makes the job easier and I believe most auto parts stores sell/rent them. The biggest thing to remember is to make sure you put it back on straight or it will drive you crazy by being just a bit crooked.

Take note of the alignment mark on the splined shaft so you get the new one on the same as the old one. Should be a line on the wheel too.

I have found on late model cars the puller is usually not needed. I loosen the nut as far as possible and pull up on the wheel a bit and it comes free. I leave the nut on so the wheel does not come flying off and smack me in the face!
