13mm for the caliper bolts, maybe a 12mm depending on the year. Channel locks to push the caliper piston in. That is the front. Easy. Also a 19mm to get the lugnuts off.
The rears are the same size bolts as the front but requires piston turning tool. You can get them at most auto supply places. Only safe way to turn the pistons in on the rear. They are both right handed threads on S-Type

The lugnuts hold the wheel on. You only said brake pads.
The discs you need to remove the 15mm bolts holding the caliper anchor on after removing the caliper as above. You may need hammer to bang off the rotors.
Justsaying, and please dont take this the wrong way, but if you do not know what lugnuts are, I hope you are from somewhere other than the US and if not, please leave the brake replacement to someone who knows what they are doing. Brakes are so important. Again no offence meant, just want you to be safe.

What are Lugnuts

What are the discs held on with
OMG...please don't change your brakes. Not intending to offend you, but just leave this to a shop. Discs aren't held on by anything other than the lugnuts and the wheel. They are trapped by the caliper though, so you need to remove it. FJT was right on the money, but I'd leave it to someone else if you don't really know the basic setup of how brakes work.

I think it was really just the language barrier, in the UK the term would be wheel nuts and lug nutswould not be a normally rcognised term.
I've seen a couple of posts from people who didn't understand when the message centre said that the boot(trunk) was ajar, pretty much the same language problem.

OK...I was just concerned about pics of a beautiful S sideways pinned to a tree because of faulty brakes. Hope the change goes well.

You guy's are terrible !!
How long before we knew what the boot and bonnett were, or the windscreen? If you look in the owners manual it probably does say wheel nuts! LOL, Nice way to help out a new member.

I think we helped just fine, but wouldn't you be concerned if he didn't know what lug nuts OR wheel nuts were? Initially it sounded like he just didn't know, not like there was a language problem. I think he'll be ok though.
