hi has anyone fitted a towbar to a 2000 s type cheers

I agree with norri re the 2000 S - I have one [V6], and apart from being told to consider it very carefully [tow nothing heavier than a 400Kg trailer], the cost is exorbitant here in Australia [Jaguar quote over $2000 - about UKP 950].

None of the commercial towbar fabricators make anything for an s-Type. I ended up fitting a bar to my daughter's Mits Lancer, and borrow it whenever I need to tow my trailer. Not perfect but a lot cheaper.
