Default Tranny issues

05 S Type 3.0.

It bumps when shifting into third gear, and sometimes second. Fluid has been changed by tech before. Any ideas?

You may benefit from having the ZF Adaptations Drive Cycle reflash TSB performed by a reputable dealership that has a track record of success with this procedure. It fixed my wife's XK8's rough shifting tendencies a month ago. Smooth as silk throughout the entire range now. It cost me $175 and takes a couple of hours. I don't like having to go to any dealership for service, but this was certainly money well spent. In my opinion, the local indy shops simply do not have enough of a track record in fixing this issue to risk our two ZF transmissions with them....

Thanks guys. Guess I'll have to suck it up and go to the dealership.
