Turn Signal LH 2003 S type

Constant problem with L turn signal shorting out? If I kink the socket wires just so it works for awhile but it's gone past annoying. Any suggestions/remedies? Thanks Nick

Is it the front? Normally the contacts in the holder get burnt, new holder is the answer.
Someone did a tinfoil repair.

Mine stopped working twice in 1 month. When I changed the bulb the second time I noticed the plastic where the connection is on the bulb was kind of melted...
