Default Type S Parking Brake Problems

I have a 2005 3.0 Jaguar Type S, sedan.
Originally got the panel display message that said, "Parking Brake Default"
Changed a fuze 30amp and that went away.

Next week, the brakes actually locked up no. I did not even set the park brake, and when I went to pull out of my garage, I found the parking brake had engaged. Tried resetting everything and o Jag dealer any where around, so had it towed to my local Ford dealer where I had bought it. The only way they could get the thing unstuck after unsuccessfully trying to reset the system several Times, was by removing a spring about an inch and a half long from a bracket by the parking break cable. Well the thing now is free wheeling, but i have an annoying light, display and beep beep beep that sounds when you put the car in gear and go forward about 5 miles and hour. I pulled the horn out of the dash panel to stop that noise. I dont care if I have a parking brake or not. Not going to spend $1500. to get a lousy parking brake fixed that I have never used.
In any case here is where I am now. No Parking break... No Problem! No Problem! BUT...I still got the blooy orange indicator light on the panel. And now for some reason the engine light is on. Had that check by mechanic...everything is fine with the engine. So my question is how does one get rid of indicator lights on the panel of this car?????
The engine light, and the little orange light associated with the parking brake issue. Can I pull a fuze somewhere to dump the indicator lights? Or break a bulb or something. I just want them to go away. In all respects this car runs like new. Just these irritating light bulbs are on, on the panel. HELP!
HELP! HELP! B

Welcome to the site.

I'd suggest you find out what's actually broken and the approximate cost to fix it rather than ripping out wires, fuses and horns. Probably cheaper in the long run.

it could be a few things, parking brake motor, module or battery.

does your state have an annual test to see if your car is fit for the road ? will it pass with no parking brake ?

Considering your actions and the actions of the car dealer you bought it from. I think it would be better to just get rid of the car.

It's not going to be pretty!
