Has anyone upgraded their audio system? For the most part, OEM systems tend to suck, the Jag is no exception. I have the Alpine ‘premium’ package; the bass sucks big time.

I’ve searched on every website that I can think of and not one has a listing for the rear subs. Are they the 6x8’s? I’m thinking changing the front and rear door speakers and adding an 12” eclipse SW8200.

Can anyone tell me what size speakers are located in rear shelf? I think that theyare be blown out? I can't turn up the bass, cuz I all I get is a ton of distortion.

 

im not sure on the S, but on the X im pretty sure they are either 6 or 6.5in.

 

I finally got back in the trunk area to check out the speakers size. There 8' subs and the magnet is falling apart.

 

i know someone selling a bose 8" sub from an audi a4, but im guessin it wont work for the jag
