Here's a couple better pics of the bits. I got a few more out and it looks more and more like a valve seat. I'm hoping to dig back in and pull the heads this week.

That's a good question. Probably easier to tell me the possibilities and then I'll check them with a magnet.

That beveled edge looks like something valve related to me, but I'm just a noob.
