Default Valvoline Maxlife

I have a very small leak at the rear main seal. A few drops on the driveway but the car hardly loses any oil.
Has anybody used Valvoline Maxlife which is supposed to have an additive for gaskets, or any other stop leak product like Bars or Lucas?
Thanks

If you're running synthetic oil now, one of the downsides is that it can sometimes manage to find its way through microscopic gasket breeches where conventional oil cannot. Synthetic oil does not cause leak problems, it just exposes them. Some folks have discovered that when they went back to conventional oil, their leak problems ceased....

I have been on Maxlife for several years now and I am very satisfied with it. But even Valvoline does not claim it will stop leaks, they just say it will condition gaskets to prevent leaks. Not the same things.
