I recently bought a 2006 S-Type, 4.2 with Navigation. How do I find out if it has voice commands? When I touch the switch there is no beep. How much does it cost to install the voice module?

 

The easist way to tell if you have JaguarVoice is to press the button....top button on the left side of the steering wheel. Once you press the button, look at the read out (should be the left one under the speedometer) for the word "Listening" or press the button and do nothing so that it beeps when it cycles off.

Also, your dealer can tell if you have it by the VIN.

If you don't have it, it will cost you about $800 to pay for the parts. I've got it and it's great.

 

Just press the button and say "help" it should then say a list of commands
