So I was doing my errands for the day and I turned off the radio to listen for any unusual noises and what I am going to explain to the best of my ability is what I heard..

At slow speeds I hear a faint clicking in the rear end of the car, Thinking it may be the independent suspension my dad was talking about.
Also when I parked it I put my foot on the sidewall of the back wheels and pushed it and it was clicking. So could someone please tell me what this may be? I'm fairly certain he is right but he is no Jaguar guy by any means and he told me to look it up! This is where I come to you guys. Many of you probably owned your cars for many years and know every in and out about them I ask for your help!

Could be any one of a hundred things. Put the car in the air and start looking and probing. Please update your signature with details of your car also.

 

check your wheel nuts , wheel bearings . sway bar bushes , shock bushes and brake calipers for any movement or loose retaining hardware !

 

...and check the wheel centre caps.
