just curious how warranties work. i've got a 2003 s type r with 18k miles. of course i've got the 4 year/50k mile bumper to bumper warranty. is that 4 years from the date of purchase, or 4 years from 03 running the warranty out until the end of 2007? hopefully the latter of the two.

The warrenty starts from the day of purchase.

 

Keep in mind that 4 year/50k bumper to bumper warranty is also for which ever occurs first.

 

I'd say don't hesitate, your warranty could be a matter of days...

the vin is SAJEA03V831M77270

with the last digits being '77270' it should be a late 03 production... any way to tell?
