Smile we're back

We finally put the Kitty back on the road. After a month and a half we were able to find a Throttle body for something less than the sum of all our body parts ($2817 + labor).
In our search for replacement parts and other Jag related searches, I came up with a COMMON DENOMINATER. On all of the Jags that I was able to find having the throttle body replaced, at the same time had to have the battery serviced or replaced. That seems to be the theme of the problem, which seems to make since seeing how the throttle body works on electrical pulses.

PICS will be up tomorrow. THANK YOU to all who took the time put thier thoughts and experience on this site.

AND a very special thanks to Ed Johns who helped as our personal mechanic in this event. Super man...

Er.... say what??? Just about the whole car "works on electrical pulses" but the TB isn't by any means the most sensitive. What you'll be seeing is that cars with problems are often the battery. Some turn out not to be the battery but are the TB.
