Default What is the Drivers Side Mount Air Bag?

I got my A/C serviced (compressor & dryer installed and system recharged) and when I got the car back the code is reading that the Driver Side Side Mount Air Bag Circuit is Open.

I'm really confused about what this is and how it can happen. Any insight on what I can do would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 2001 Jag S type V8.

The airbag light is blinking 3 times (pause) 6 times (long pause)

Appears to be driver side airbag fault.

If you had the actual code (specialist tool needed) it might give rather more detail.

Maybe the clock spring / cassette contacts are the cause but I suppose wiring etc could be and beware of using a meter or the like without understanding what is and isn't safe.

it just kinda came out of nowhere....I guess I'm gonna have to take it to a shop cause i have no idea what it is...

drivers air bag, check the
wires under the drivers seat they have a habit of breaking
