Default What is the Drivers Side Mount Air Bag?

I got my A/C serviced (compressor & dryer installed and system recharged) and when I got the car back the code is reading that the Driver Side Side Mount Air Bag Circuit is Open.

I'm really confused about what this is and how it can happen. Any insight on what I can do would be greatly appreciated.

Please post all car details and the code you are getting.

It makes a difference.

Appears to be driver side airbag fault.

If you had the actual code (specialist tool needed) it might give rather more detail.

Maybe the clock spring / cassette contacts are the cause but I suppose wiring etc could be and beware of using a meter or the like without understanding what is and isn't safe.
