there are no labels other than the "Audiovox Electronics Corp."

the LED's are lit-up seemingly whenever the car is on, and I can see them in the rear-view mirror.

 

Pass, but not standard.

 

Some kind of hard-wired radar detector?

 

Audiovox manufacture aftermarket vehicle telephone and audio equipment.

It could be a BlueTooth install by the PO........

well, after finding nothing identifiable inside it, I reassembled it and put it back up where it belongs.
It seems that maybe it's only on when the DVD player is on? I'm beginning to think that it may be the FM Modulator for the DVD. ???
But strange to mount it there? with an entire array of LED's to show it's power status?
I'm not convinced yet.

If it were a bluetooth, how would I check that?
