For those of you like me that don't change your own oil, what are the going rates? And just and oil and oil filter change, not the cabin filter.

 

I have a shop that charges $12 (really a hair under $14 with tax and recycle fee), even uses ASE mechanics. You bring them your own oil and filter...

 

pennzoil near me, charges me about 42 for the Synthetic in the Jag. 5w-30 i do believe it is. Oh and they treat my car with the utmost respect. Not only that, but everytime i go down there, the guys there love talking cars with me. Actually i have a bunch of remote starters to do for their own customers. It is gonna be a long winter................... well installing that is.

 

$50 for labor at the Jag dealer, $70 for Castrol Syntec, $10 for K&N filter = $130. Every 5k miles.
