Default Wheel came off!!!!!.

I posted earlier about my floaty front suspension. On the way to the shop to get it check out, the driver side wheel buckled. Luck has it that I had just turned to get on the ramp to a major hwy. It has front fender damage and the wheel is folded back. Had it tow to shop and the lower ball joint had just snapped. The shop quoted $260 to have both sides replaced. Other than getting the fender fixed it rides like a new car. 2000 s-type 4.0 with 130000.

It sounds like you were lucky that it happened where it did.

I hope the damage is not too bad.

Good to see, that thing didn't cause an accident and damage seems not that bad at all

I hope you learned something from this ordeal, instead of just chalking it up to "good luck" and having everyone pat you on the back! Suspension/steering issues are no joke, as I'm sure you have found out.
