If it hot outside i get hot air and if its cool then cool air. The compressor doesn't come on when I turn on the a/c. The auto electric tech told me it has good voltage going to it. Prior to this i had the a/c recharge and it still didn't engaged. Also is it normal for the A/C to come on when the temp is on the highest level. I find this very strange. Where should I start.?

 

Have you disconnected the battery? You have to drive the car around after you connect the battery then turn it off and the next time you drive it the a/c will work fine. I forget what alljaguar told me but it was called a warm start or hard start or something like that. Happens everytime you disconnect the battery.
