Unfortunately, I damaged a rim on my winter set and purchased 2 new rear 18" riims that arrived quite wider than my old 18" x 8" rear rims (Brembo brakes). I note the tires on the new rims are sitting differently. Drives smooth and professionally installed. Anything I need to worry about, and (please educate me), should I just have purchased new 'wider' tires?

 

Well if you have a STR the factory rear rims are 9.5" wide so the 8" ones are not correct. The STR uses the 8" wide rims on the front.

I have never tried the 8" front rims to see if they fit on the back or not?

they should fit, they will just be more stuck in that the 9.5
