XMK Radio - 03 S-Type
1 - Has anybody attempted to add XM radio to an S-Type?
2 - Where did you mount the reciever?
3 - Am I correct in assuming that the stock Alpine unit is not satellite ready?
4 - Is there any way to get the satellite radio display to show on the stock Radio via an auxillary port on the stereo?
5 - How does the original stereo come out??
Thanks.

RE: XMK Radio - 03 S-Type
TO ANSWER YOU QUESTIONS:
1:NO
2:NEVER DID IT
3:YES
4:NO
5: YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE PLASTIC SURRONDING THE SEAT HEATER SWITCHES(ASUMING YOU HAVE THEM) AT THE BOTTOM OF YOU CENTER STACK, AND THE HALF MOONS ON EITHER SIDE. AND BEHIND THESE COVERS THERE ARE 4,7MM BOLTS REMOVE THESE AND YOUR WHOLE CENTER STACK COMES OUT OF THE CAR AND YOU THEN DISSASEMBLE THE RADIO FROM THE STACK.NOTE PUT SOME RAGS TO COVER THE J-GATE OR YOU WILL SCRATCH THE HELL OUT OF IT.
