XP mesh grill question
They are behind the "tray" that comes below your grille, if you look at your grille, and then look down you see a plack plastic cover peice, now if you go behind it, towards the bumper, you will see 2 bolts.

whatever you do, don't get the grille mesh INSERT! you will break those clips and will have to replace the grille. Its a waste of money. Just buy the whole grille. 99 percent of the time those clips break when removing the chrome surround.

Cutting the bars out is pretty tricky, but past that. it's a peice of cake... I also painted the place where I cut the bats, so you can't see it.,,, it's awesome.. get the insert... it's cheaper and very very nice.

Iam going to have call you out and say bs, those clips always break and you either used glue or some other means to keep them in place. Those clips break and are very fragile. I have this insert and the lower grille on my jag also. I think its a total hack job on how they want you to install this mesh grille. For a jaguar that is suppose to be pimp car, its a half *** way installing this insert. And cutting the grille section out is not tricky at all so i know you didn't do this yourself without someone holding your hand. Its the easiest part of the whole job. The hardest part is lining up the mesh and trying NOT to break those clips when removing the chrome surround. I have several freinds at crown jag that customers wanted this installed. I work right down the street at a honda dealership in florida.Nice try.
My advise it spend the extra 100 and get the assembly. I don't know about you but but iam no hack, my **** looks tight and done right.

here is a picture of the install. This is the insert installed. Yes it looks good, but iam saying that the way to install this insert is half assed. I recomend buying the entire grille. But if you have a tight wallet then buy the insert and chance it.

There are also quite a few sellers offering them on eBay for a little under $300. They're OEM pieces (or so they say...) I got one and it's exactly like the piece I removed so it seems legit. Looks awesome.
