Ronbros:

Except guys like me. Right ear has 0 hearing. Left , a generous 50%.

Usually I wear an aid on the left one only. when I need audio!!!

I've a "fancy set" A receptor for the (0) ear that transmits the noise via wireless to the the left aid. Too fawncy, uin repair or busted....

Old aid out of retirement. Too much amp, adjustment in progress, mixed results.

Too many 90 mm's and 50 calibers!!! Ear protection unheard of then!!!

Oh, and that full day on the range, coaching the "Bazooka"!!!!

Anybody interested. There is a 74 XJS former show car for sale on craigslist St. Louis for $2500. Engine is rebuilt and still on stand. Husband died and left unfinished project for wife. Car looks excellent. Also a 73 XJ6 in decent condition, needs carbs and brake booster back on. Same price $2500. I'm out of room.

Just a quick correction...the XJS is an '84, not a '74. Looks good in the pictures.

Yeah !!!! but, as I am still going, sorta, at 86, must've done something right??? or merely lucky....

Got my "fawncy ears back". Watched TV last night with both on.
Oh, yeah, tons better.

In the shop, I worked on two older ones. Aha, there are miniscule threads on the amplifer for the tube to screw on to. They had parted... Cleaned out the orifices of ear wax. Got one going just fine.
The other seems electronically "kaput"!!!

But, I'm set on that front, back ups as well.

More weed whacking today. Got the gas one choppin' really good. No ear aids when I do that...

Jaguar is purring. Jeep battery, oh, oh, new one in offing...
