Default Coolant Leak

So I noticed my fan running a lot lately after shutting the car off. Yesterday I went to check it out and and some other maintenance and found that most of my coolant was gone. I found where the leak is coming from but I don't know what the part is called or any methods to fixing it. I couldn't find the part on a schematic. Any help is much appreciated.

The leak is coming from the black piece right above the downpipe.

Looks like thermo housing is leaking. Order an entire upper hose with thermostat included.

So is the thermostat inside that black piece with the orange coolant dripping off of it? Just want to make sure so I don't create more work for myself when the parts get here.
