Nuts for bolting the spacer to the hub will be included. You will use the OEM lug nuts to attach the wheel to the spacer.

I suggest the following micro clicker torque wrench. Much better value, far more dependable/reliable, just as accurate and, best yet, old school.

I am also normally old school, but the nerd in me has to have the beeping, vibrate w/ LEDs crap LOL. Plus if I worked on cars all the time the reliability would mean more to me.

I do acknowledge how stupid SOME wheel/tire people are. One of our company little trucks - an HHR at Les Schwab - the idiot left the front wheels on hand tight and forgot to torque them down. Luckily the driver made it to the shoulder unharmed.

Anytime nowadays when you depend on someone else to do something right that may be hazardous to your health, check it yourself.

Got my shipping notification on Friday, literally hours after someone hit the drivers side front of our Ftype in a parking lot. Sigh.

Hope everyone else got their shipping notifications too.

OMG.. Sorry to hear about the unfortunate set of circumstances. Hopefully it's not that bad and repaired quickly.

Yup. Sucks. Probably going to be a whole new front bumper assembly, left headlight, new hood (bonnet?), probably a good bit of hinge and attachment stuff, new clear bra, likely a new left front rim too. Who knows what's hidden?

Go to Jag approved shop. Probably all new parts. They will fight with insurance adjuster but will win.

I have a shop I like. They're approved. They were involved with a similar type accident on a 911 a few years ago. They're terrific.

When I serviced the brakes on my XJR a few years ago I only hand tightened the nuts while the car was raised, with the intention of torquing them when it was back on the ground. I must have missed one wheel because the front passenger wheel started droning really loudly on the way to work about a week later and after quickly pulling over and checking I found the locking nut had been lost entirely and the others where not even finger tight. I had to use that horrible jack they provide in the trunk, and when raised I could wobble the wheel about 5mm.

I now have a routine of not reinserting the hub growler caps until I have torqued each wheel so I am sure I've done it, and I now pay attention to that warning on the bottom of the service invoice that says "check your wheel nut torques after 100 miles".

I use a favourite independant for changing my tyres because they torque the the wheel nuts to OEM spec and print what it was before and what it is set to afterwards on the invoice for reference.
