Default Jaguar Incentives / Rebates on a lease?

Hi All,

I'm new to the forums and hopefully soon to be transplant into an F-type R from my '15 M4. Trying to work out and do my research on Jag is proving to be far more difficult than on my BMW a few years ago... does anyone know if there is a list somewhere that has all Jag incentives/rebates listed? I obviously want to make sure I'm getting everything I can out of the dealer.

I'm also being told that some incentives are only for a purchase and don't quality on leases... again adding to my confusion. I've seen some pretty awesome cars in a statewide search with 14-17k off MSRP on new 2016's but I'm being told that those discounts on only for purchases... any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome. I too came from a '15 M4 (I'm a huge BMW fanboy) but last Jan/Feb, so I'm not sure what is currently available. However, I have hard time believing such discounts are only for purchases and not leases. I would recommend you go to your local dealer and ask to see the current residuals, MF, and rebates. Then you can compare with national dealers and negotiate deals anywhere. Even if your local dealer doesn't inform you of all the cash available, you will likely eventually find out by contacting other dealers. Back when I got my R, there was conquest cash, Chase lease rebate, and VIP monies available, in addition to the chunk of change you are seeing off msrp.

Good luck! You over on any of the BMW forums?

Those nice MY 2016 discounts can be applied toward a lease, toward cap cost reduction. Including the $3K rebate. I just did this last week.

Speaking of BMW, I cross shopped with BMW 435i (just to look at a more practical option). The BMW MSRP was far less, but the lease was higher than my 2016 F-Type V6 Prem. It helped make the F-Type an easy decision, since the Jag is far more fun to drive.

If youre in OC, come to Newport Beach LRJ dealeship, ask for Simmon. He can get you a deal on 16-17 ftype. I doubt they have anymore 16 but they can still get you a deal on the 17. The special they have going on is $429 a month for base Ftype with 5k down on 10k miles lease. $499 for premium. And ofcourse you can always play with the number a bit. Dont even go to anaheim hill dealership. Those guys are typical back and forth salesmans. They quote me 5k down $627 a month for a base, and they want to do the back and forth game, i told i dont have time for this and they went down to 599, total wast of time. I went to all 4 dealership and NB is the best, eastiest, straight to the point personnel. Tell simmon Ken just lease one from him a week ago and i'm sure he'll take care of you.

Yeah, I found you over there--I'm very active there as well. Did you find a buyer yet for the M? Impressive list of mods. Anything planned for the Jag?

Congratulations, we see you didn't mess around with ceramic back age at IRR color. Nice. Welcome to forum.

Honestly... the Jag is so perfect as is... very little to change. The only things I have in mind is to paint the rear emblems the same gloss black as the diffuser trim and possibly buying the fixed SVR diffuser and having that installed.... I'm personally not a huge fan of the spoiler going up and down in our freeway traffic and really like the look of the svr diffuser a lot. Aside form those few things.... I would just need to decide if I want to do anything with the chrome on the wheels and that's really it. Car is beyond amazing as is.

Thank You!!
There were so few 2016 IRR coupes in California that it was getting pretty annoying... I didn't want a 2017 due to the awesome discounting to be had on MY16. Fell in love with the color & car the moment I saw it.
