Default Corgi vs. Jaguar: Standoff an English dog an English cat

So I come home..park the car in the garage and proceed to take the corgi out for her walk to do her business. As I'm putting on my shoes, the corgi decides to brush up against the exhaust of a just driven so therefore still very hot F-Type.

Needless to say, I think the Jaguar won this round. Literally left its mark. You can clearly see almost two half circles. Shes fine though.

Looks like the cat won this round.

I tried cleaning and brushing it off. The fur definitely feels a little coarser where it made contact so probably lightly singed.

Ouch. Hopefully her fur served as an adequate insulator from the heat.

Yah she's fine. I pulled back her fur and the skin below it was fine. Corgi's have a two layer coat making it a fulltime job for my Roomba comes shedding season.

I love Corgi's!!! I'm glad she wasn't hurt!!

It can be a full time job sometimes protecting Pets from themselves, but they are worth it.
