Default Is there any alternative to these Fuel Injection Clips?

Hi Guys

The worst part (for me) of removing the Fuel Injection Rail was taking the Wire Clips off the Injectors to remove their electric plugs.

Even with a very small sharp screwdriver, those wire clips are a total PIA to take off.

Is there a more updated type of Clip available and if so where can I get some?

I have found a gentle see/saw action on the plug while applying pulling force (also gentle) they unplug no worries with clips in place.

You can use standard Bosch FI plugs BUT they will not sit right. Problem is the cut out around the injector.

You could instead make a little extension and use the ore modern plugs like AMP Superseals between the vehicle loom and the injector. Kind of like 12 adapters. Should male removing them easier. With age, they tend to crack...

my way of fixing the Bosch injector mounting , custom aluminum rail, o-ring top and bottom, i undo end fuel lines , two bolts hold rail and just lift upwards, and rail is of, injectors stay in place .

i did away with that top hose setup, fire potential(rare).

and my injector plugs have no clip , never had one loose in 21 years! might be over kill engineering
